Brian Richter
Director of Digital Practice

Brian Richter, Director of Digital Practice, is an architect and educator. He enriches our practice work by focusing on implementing technologies and methodologies to enhance design processes, thinking, and communication.

During his tenure at the University of Kentucky’s College of Design, Brian coordinated the redevelopment of the first-year undergraduate program in the School of Architecture while introducing advanced digital toolsets and methodologies integral to contemporary practice across undergraduate and graduate curricula. In addition to his academic and applied research, Brian has developed a portfolio of diverse typologies serving as designer and project manager across multiple projects, including the Bloomberg Center at Cornell Tech, the Kolon One & Only Tower, the New Orleans Cultural Burial Museum, and the USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka.

Brian’s previous training in New York and Los Angeles with award-winning practices includes Morphosis Architects, Bernard Tschumi Architects, Trahan Architects, HWKN Architecture (Hollwich Kushner), and Lang Architecture.
