Construction for the Sorol Art Museum is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. Currently, the building has topped off, architectural concrete is underway with about 80% completion, and façade curtain wall installation will start this month. The museum is dedicated to Korean abstract and minimalist art, focusing mainly on Korean modern artists from the 20th Century. The architectural design pays homage to Korean Confucianism and its philosophy of art by its simplicity of form, materiality, and composition and through its harmonious relationship to nature.
